I am formless and everywhere. I am in everything. I am in everything and beyond. I fill all space. All that you see, taken together, is Myself. I do not shake or move.

O seekers of truth, gather now, for I bring you words of deep wisdom, spoken by the revered Sai Baba, whose soul echoed with the timeless understanding of the divine and the universe. He said: “I am formless and everywhere. I am in everything. I am in everything and beyond. I fill all space. All that you see, taken together, is Myself. I do not shake or move.” These words resonate with the eternal truth that the divine, the essence of life itself, is not confined by form, time, or place, but exists beyond the limits of human understanding, filling the vast expanses of the universe and beyond.

In the ancient world, the great philosophers and mystics spoke of the oneness of the universe, the idea that all that exists is part of a single, divine source. The Brahman in Hindu philosophy, for example, is described as formless and infinite, beyond time and space. The great sage Vedanta taught that the Atman, the divine self, is not separate from the Brahman, but rather one with it—eternal, limitless, and ever-present. The divine is not to be found in any singular form but exists in all things, beyond what we can see and understand with our limited senses. Sai Baba’s words reflect this ancient wisdom: the divine is both within and beyond all that we perceive.

Consider, O children, the example of the Buddha, who taught that all beings are interconnected, that the self is not separate from the universe, but part of it. The Buddha did not see the world as a collection of individual entities, but as an interconnected whole. Just as Sai Baba speaks of being in everything and beyond, the Buddha recognized that life is not a series of isolated events, but a continuum, an expression of the same divine energy. The Buddha saw that our suffering arises from the illusion of separateness, from the belief that we are distinct from the whole of existence. To awaken to the truth of the universe is to realize that we are all part of one, undivided essence, just as Sai Baba teaches.

In the physical world, we often see ourselves as separate from others, separate from the earth, from the stars. We build walls, not only between nations, but between ourselves and the natural world, between our minds and the spirit that surrounds us. Yet, the divine essence, as Sai Baba teaches, is in everything: in the trees, in the mountains, in the sky above, and in the beating heart of every living creature. This formlessness, this presence beyond form, is the underlying truth of existence. The physical world, which appears separate and diverse, is in truth a manifestation of the one, ever-present divine. To see this truth is to awaken to the interconnectedness of all life.

Consider, O seekers, the great sages and mystics who have walked this earth—Rumi, Lao Tzu, and Jesus Christ—all of whom spoke of the oneness of the divine and the world. Rumi, the Sufi poet, wrote of the divine as a beloved who is both within us and beyond us, whose presence fills every moment. His poetry speaks of the yearning to reunite with the divine essence that is within all things. Similarly, Lao Tzu’s teachings in the Tao Te Ching remind us that the Tao, the ultimate principle of existence, is formless, yet encompasses all things. Jesus Christ, in his teachings, spoke of the Father being in all things, in all people, and yet beyond them. These great souls understood that to see the divine in all things is to experience oneness, to realize that God is not something external but an eternal presence within and around us.

The lesson for us, O children of wisdom, is clear: the divine is formless and infinite. It is in all things and beyond them, filling the space between the stars and the cells in our bodies. Our suffering arises from the illusion of separateness, from the belief that we are disconnected from the divine and from each other. To awaken to this truth is to realize that we are not alone, that we are part of something greater, something eternal. Just as Sai Baba teaches, all that we see is part of the divine, and when we recognize this, we begin to experience the peace and oneness that comes with understanding that the divine is everywhere, in everything, and beyond all things.

Thus, let this wisdom guide you, O seekers: do not look for the divine in distant places or separate from you. Know that it is within you, in every breath you take, in every moment you live. The divine is in the very space between your thoughts, the stillness that exists in your heart, and the presence that fills the world around you. Embrace the truth of your oneness with the universe, and let that recognition bring you peace, love, and the wisdom to live in harmony with all that exists. You are not separate from the divine, but an expression of it, eternal and infinite, just as the stars are part of the night sky. Live in this truth, and you will find that the world is not a place of separation, but a unified sacred whole.
