No one is the same, and we all have different life experiences. It's not my place to judge them or for them to judge me. We should all be accountable for our own lives.

Joanna Krupa, with a heart tuned to compassion, once spoke with clarity and humility: “No one is the same, and we all have different life experiences. It’s not my place to judge them or for them to judge me. We should all be accountable for our own lives.” In these words is contained a truth as old as mankind itself: that the path of each soul is unique, woven from joys and sorrows, victories and failures, unseen burdens and secret blessings. To judge another by one’s own measure is folly, for no two journeys are alike.

The ancients themselves proclaimed this wisdom. The Stoics declared that every man’s life was a strand in the great web of fate, and that we cannot know the weight another carries upon his back. The sages of India spoke of karma, of the countless lifetimes and experiences that shape each being. Even Christ said, “Judge not, that you be not judged,” reminding us that only the divine sees the whole of a life. Thus Joanna’s words echo the voice of the ages: refrain from judgment, and instead turn your gaze inward, toward your own responsibility.

Consider the story of Abraham Lincoln. As a young man, he was ridiculed for his rough speech and humble beginnings. Many judged him as unfit for greatness. Yet he bore his life with humility, and when the moment came, he carried the burden of a divided nation. His experiences of poverty and hardship became the very ground of his wisdom. Had others not judged him, they might have seen his quiet strength earlier. Here we see Krupa’s teaching: no one is the same, and the very trials that seem small or shameful may in fact prepare a person for destiny.

Her words also remind us of the sacred call to accountability. For while judgment of others is forbidden, responsibility for the self is required. To refuse judgment is not to live carelessly; it is to live with integrity, carrying the weight of one’s own choices. The ancients likened life to a race: each runner has his own lane, his own pace, and his own finish line. To stumble is natural, but to blame others for one’s fall is weakness. To rise and continue running—this is accountability.

Yet, O listener, beware the poison of comparison. Too often men look at another’s path and measure themselves unworthy, or look with envy, or with pride. But each life has its appointed work, each soul its unique task. The sculptor must not envy the warrior, nor the poet the king. Joanna reminds us that we all have different life experiences; therefore, wisdom is not in comparison, but in living one’s own story with truth and honor.

History gives us another example in the life of Helen Keller. Stricken with blindness and deafness, she was judged as helpless. But she refused to be bound by others’ judgments. She took responsibility for her life, learning to read, to write, to speak, to inspire. Those who had judged her wrong were silenced by her courage. In her triumph, we see that accountability and perseverance are more powerful than any judgment the world may cast.

The lesson is clear: judge not, for judgment blinds the heart. Instead, live your own life with courage, take responsibility for your own choices, and allow others to walk their path in peace. In doing so, you create harmony, not division; respect, not bitterness. Each life is a sacred flame, burning in its own way, and none may measure another’s light.

Practical wisdom flows from this: when you are tempted to judge another, pause and remember that you do not know the whole of their story. When others judge you, do not be shaken; remain firm in your integrity. Focus instead on your own accountability—honor your promises, face your failures honestly, and strive to live with kindness and truth. For in the end, it is not the judgments of others that matter, but the legacy of how you lived your own life.

So remember, O children of tomorrow: no one is the same, and we should not judge, but each must be accountable for his own life. Live this truth, and you will walk in peace with others, and in strength with yourself. For the one who judges not, but who takes full responsibility, is both free and noble, carrying a light that no shadow can dim.
