Alphonso Davies is a Canadian professional footballer, born on November 2, 2000, in Buduburam, Ghana, to Liberian parents. He moved to Canada with his family as a refugee when he was a young child, and he later became a naturalized Canadian citizen. Widely regarded as one of the top young talents in international football, Davies plays as a left-back or winger for Bayern Munich, one of Germany’s most successful football clubs, and the Canada national team.
