Her breakthrough came when she signed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) in the 1940s, where she became known as "The Swimming Queen of the Screen." Some of her most famous films include "Bathing Beauty" (1944), "Million Dollar Mermaid" (1952), and "Easy to Love" (1953).
