Early Life & Education

  • She was born into a film-family: her father is Subhash Sharma (a writer/director/producer) and her mother is Sheela Sharma (an actress).

  • She attended Marble Arch School in Mumbai for her schooling.

  • For college, she studied English Literature at Mithibai College, Mumbai.

  • She also received formal training in acting, enrolling at Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute from around age 15.

  • In addition, she learned dance under prominent choreographers Shiamak Davar, Ganesh Acharya, and Uma Dogra.

  • Madalsa made her acting debut in 2009 with the Telugu film Fitting Master, directed by E.V.V. Satyanarayana.
