Moira Kelly
Moira Kelly is an American actress, born on March 6, 1968, in Queens, New York. She is best known for her roles in both film and television, particularly during the 1990s.
Kelly gained prominence for her role in "The Cutting Edge" (1992), where she played a figure skater who pairs up with a former hockey player (played by D.B. Sweeney) to compete in the Winter Olympics. She also starred in "Chaplin" (1992), portraying the wife of Charlie Chaplin, and in "Dangerous Beauty" (1998), where she played Veronica Franco, a 16th-century Venetian courtesan.
In addition to her film career, Moira Kelly became widely recognized for her television work. She starred in the popular teen drama "One Tree Hill" (2003-2009) as Karen Roe, the mother of Lucas Scott (played by Chad Michael Murray).
