Nicholas Edward Gonzalez (born January 3, 1976) is an American actor best known for his roles as Alex Santiago on Resurrection Blvd. and Dr. Neil Melendez on The Good Doctor.

Nicholas Gonzalez was born in San Antonio, Texas.

Gonzalez attended Central Catholic High School in San Antonio.

After high school (class of 1994), Gonzalez declined a presidential appointment to West Point and instead pursued English/literature at Stanford University. Ulysses.
